Night after night
Sleeping in a room of lavish and pride
A princess waits for her knight, her prince, her duke
They visit her in her dreams
Beautiful, nice, and true
Awakening from her slumber
Brought a different case
Betrothed to one of highest power
A prince perfect in every way
But yet her heart longs for something
More than perfection
Imperfection.
Taking a walk through the wood
Limbs of trees draped over knotted roots
Flowers blooming as bright as the stars
The sunlight drips through the clearings
Creating shadows and brilliant light
Singing as her footsteps fell
Carefully, not to crush the beauty
Beneath her feet.
With all this beauty came happiness
One only her true prince could
Own up to.
Being encaged in the castle of stone
Was the life to be lived
Once she was given away,
Cold grey lightless were the stones
This lack of color
Drained the hope from her soul
Of ever achieving something truly special
A day of escape was a day of bliss
Whether the rain be pouring
Or the sun be shining
The forest would put to rest
All of her stress
Under an oak tree
Watching the drops of water
Collect and slid coolly down
The rough brown bark,
Creating a smoothing effect
She let the water
Slowly dampen her clothing and hair
Watching the greenery become a dazzling
Emerald and jade landscape
As the rain replenishes
All that the sun had taken away
Drifting off into a wet and lovely sleep
The princess began to dream once again
Awakened by a rustling noise
Not like that of the rain
A glance around
Showed no signs of an intruder
But yet the rustling continued.
Just as the girl rose up to leave
A face appeared through the trees
A feeling only to be described as calmness
Over took her heart
This boy was a stranger
But yet she felt completely at ease.
This stranger offered her his hand
After an exchange of knowing smiles
She laced her fingers between his
And they walked away from the castle
Deeper into the wooded land
Letting the rain take over their figures
And letting that happiness form.
Her true prince found
In this ordinary boy
A relationship was formed
So perfect in all its imperfections.

Love exists, at least I hope it does because if it doesn't- I'm screwed!
Love sucks, hate sucks, not exsisting sucks. Life sucks, now let's move on.
Sooner or later you're going to realize you were wrong- this is when I begin to laugh.
